Voluntary Benefits

Associated Food Stores, Inc. offers several Voluntary Benefit options for our team to choose from. All ARO and AFS employees are eligible for these benefits if you work at least 20 hours a week.

Open Enrollment is being held from October 15th, 2023 – November 11th, 2023.
All benefit elections and changes are effective January 1st 2024.
Associated Retail Operations (Retail) Open Enrollment will be October 15th – October 28th (Retail Store Employees)
Associated Food Stores (Wholesale) Open Enrollment will be October 29th – November 11th (Wholesale Operations – Warehouse and Corporate Employees)

Ways to enroll:
1.     Call BenAware’s call center at (866) 591-7328, M-F 8:30-5:00 pm EST for information or to enroll in the benefits
2.     Go online to the benefit administration portal and enroll yourself in the benefits. Follow the below instructions to login and get enrolled:

  To enroll yourself through the online benefit administration system -

a. Visit- Allstate.benselect.com/associatedfoods

b. You will be asked to log into the system (Allstate Benefits Enrollment Site)

c. Enter your Employee Number – which is your Employee ID number (your 5 or 6 digit employee ID number) 

d. Enter the Personal Identification Number that is comprised of your birthdate – 8 digits (example: Birthday is July 3 1972 – enter 07031972)

e. Follow the step by step process and be sure to enter your PIN to complete and authenticate your elections

 If you have any issues logging into the system, please call BenAware’s call center at (866) 591-7328 to reset your login credentials.
